GIS – COURSE FOR RECORDING CULTURAL HERITAGE FOR POST-CONFLICT RECOVERY

The IT-Department in the German Archaeological Institute DAI announces the commencement of submitting applications to participate in a training course for "recording cultural heritage for post-conflict recovery using GIS".

The project “Online courses for the MENA region” is an initiative of the IT-Department of the German Archaeological Institute. The courses are organized in connection with the Archaeological Heritage Network (ArcHerNet), and with the generous funding by the Federal Foreign Office supported by the German Federal Parliament. They are part of the program “KulturGutRetter – An emergency mechanism for cultural heritage in crisis situations”, which is currently being developed by the DAI.
